Affiliate Disclosure

Some links on Oak & Pantry are affiliate links. Here is how that works, and how we decide what to recommend.

Last updated: October 21, 2026.

The short version

Some of the links on Oak & Pantry are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. It helps us keep the site running and the guides free to read.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a special web address that tells a store the visit came from us. If you then make a purchase, the store may pay us a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not.

How we show it

  • A notice about affiliate links appears at the top of every page on this site.
  • We say so again near the top of any guide or post that contains affiliate links, in plain words.
  • On social media and Pinterest, we mark posts that contain affiliate links, for example with “#ad” or “affiliate link”, near the start of the caption.

How we choose what we recommend

Commissions do not decide what we recommend. We choose products and tools that fit the people we write for: busy people cooking for one or two in a small kitchen. We try to explain who a pick suits, who might want something else, and when a simpler or cheaper option is enough.

  • Every guide is labeled hands-on or research-based. If we have not tested a product ourselves, we say so and explain that the guide relies on specifications and reviews.
  • We never claim testing, results or experience that did not happen.
  • We may recommend products that do not pay us anything, and we do not guarantee a positive mention in exchange for a commission or a free product.

Which programs we use

We may join affiliate programs run by retailers and brands that sell kitchen appliances, tools, storage and food-planning products.

Oak & Pantry is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Free products and sponsored content

If a company sends us a product for free, or pays us to feature it, we will say so clearly in that guide.

Things we sell ourselves

Oak & Pantry also sells its own digital products, such as printables. Links to those are not affiliate links. When you buy one, we are the seller. Our Privacy Policy explains how orders are handled.

Cookies, prices and availability

When you click an affiliate link, the store may place a cookie on your device so it can tell the purchase came from us. Their own privacy policy applies to what they collect. Prices, deals and availability change often, so please check the store’s page before you buy.

Questions?

If anything here is unclear, or you spot a link we have not labeled, please tell us at hello@oakandpantry.com or on our contact page. We would rather fix it.
